Supporting Mental Health

The Surrey Mental Health Fund responds to the growing need for mental health support for children and young people.

Funding will be awarded to support charities and community groups delivering early intervention projects helping children aged 8-13 develop emotional resilience and self-esteem.

Consideration will be given to innovative new ideas and pilot projects, as well as existing work!

£54,000 was awarded to 7 fantastic projects across Surrey from the funds first round of grant awards. Apply today for a chance to benefit from this second round of funding!

Supporting Young People

There are a number of funds looking to support children and young people.

These funds support projects helping;
• Young people with disabilities
• Disabled and disadvantaged young people through sport
• Providing skills and education to disadvantaged young people

Grants may fund existing services or facilities and new initiatives, and can contribute to either capital costs or support on-going running costs.

Henry Smith County Grants

The Community Foundation for Surrey is working in partnership with the Henry Smith Charity to deliver their County Grants in Surrey.

Grants of up to £10,000 for one year or £20,000 over two or three years are available to small organisations working with disadvantaged people and communities here in Surrey.

To apply, please refer to the County Grants guidelines and application form on the Henry Smith Charity website and apply directly to them. Eligible applications will be assessed by the Community Foundation for Surrey.

Please note, there is no deadline for applications – they are accepted at any time. Applications to this fund can take up to 6 months to receive an outcome.
