LOCAL HERO AWARD CATEGORIES
for an individual who has excelled in their enthusiasm for volunteering with a voluntary organisation.
for an individual who has given many years of volunteering with a voluntary organisation or charity, making a positive contribution over many years.
for a team who have worked well together, excelling in their volunteering with a voluntary organisation, charity or project.
Tandridge District Council asks organisations to nominate their own ‘invisible hero’ who they could not be without. This award is aimed at people in organisations who support everyone else and keep organisations going by doing all of the ‘behind the scenes’ jobs. They may take notes at meetings, draw up rotas, arrange transport, collect subscriptions, and keeping everything running.
A new award, established to recognise the extensive community contributions of Mike Moss MBE, for individuals who make a difference in their community, nominated by the community. This is for a volunteer who improves life for people who are less able to help themselves and has motivated many to also participate, creating long-lasting impacts.
Please give as much information about your nominee as you can. See our lists of prompts at the end of this guidance. A panel of local representatives will judge the nominations based solely on the supporting information for each nomination, but with all names anonymised.
The winner of each category will receive a trophy recognising their achievement which will be presented to them at the Award Ceremony on 13th October 2018 at 3.15pm.
Please use the form below to submit your nomination.
